Water baptism is an act of following our Lord. It’s an outward expression of repentance of our old ways and sins and a proclamation of following Christ in obedience. If you’ve never been baptized and would like to know what it is about you or have any questions you can read the following information and fill out the form to let us know you are interested in being baptized.

What should I Bring when I am baptized?

       Wear to the service what you will be baptized in

       Wear dark clothing

        Bring a total change of clothes   (including underwear)

       A plastic bag for your wet clothes 

       We will provide you with a t-shirt to be baptized in and a towel both of which are for you to keep

       There will be a room for you to change in

       Invite friends and family to come to church with you for this special occasion

Will I have to say anything?

You do not have to say anything.  If there is someone who has played a significant role in you coming to faith in Christ, you may want to thank them.

You will be asked a series of questions to which you respond “Yes.”   

            Have you received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior?  (yes)

            Have you committed to live your life for Him?  (yes)

            Based on your profession of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, I baptize you in            the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

You will receive a certificate of your baptism and a photograph through the mail. You are welcome to have family members take pictures as well.

Sunday, April 25 immediately following the 9:30 am and 11:15 am service.
